Day 01

WELCOME TO NORTHERN THAILAND | Arrival in Chiang Rai

Begin your northern Thailand journey in the relaxed city of Chiang Rai.


Arrive at Chiang Rai Airport, where you’ll be welcomed and privately transferred to your hotel.
 

Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or explore Chiang Rai independently.

Day 02

CHIANG RAI | Temples, Art & Mae Kok River

Travel Time: Approx. 3 Hours 20 Mins.


Discover Chiang Rai’s temples, artistic heritage and scenic river landscapes.


After breakfast, explore a local market before visiting Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Phra Singh.
 

Continue to Baan Dam Museum – the Black House, the distinctive work of Thai national artist Thawan Duchanee.

Later, travel along the Mae Kok River by long-tail boat and experience the surrounding northern landscapes and a respectfully operated Karen community visit.
 

Return to Chiang Rai for the evening.

Day 03

SHIANG RAI - MAE SALONG - CHIANG SAEN | Tea Country & Golden Triangle
Travel Time: Local touring


Travel through northern Thailand’s beautiful tea-growing highlands to the legendary Golden Triangle.


Journey into the hills of Mae Salong and visit a tea plantation for a guided tasting and introduction to local production.
 

Continue with a respectful visit to an Akha community before visiting Mae Fah Luang Garden.
 

Later, travel to the Golden Triangle and take a boat journey on the Mekong River, overlooking the meeting point of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.

Day 04

CHIANG SAEN - CHIANG MAI | Communities & Chiang Dao

Travel Time: Approx. 2 Hrs. 30 mins.


Travel through the mountain landscapes of northern Thailand towards Chiang Mai.


Depart Chiang Saen and travel via Thaton.

Experience northern cultural traditions, including a local community experience and an introduction to traditional herbal medicine.
 

Continue to Chiang Dao Cave, subject to weather, accessibility and mobility conditions.
 

Travel onwards to Chiang Mai and check in for your four-night stay.

Day 05

CHIANG MAI | Old City & Doi Suthep

Walk through Chiang Mai’s Old City, discovering its ancient walls, moat and historic gateways.
 

Visit Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao and Wat Chedi Luang before taking a short traditional rickshaw ride and exploring Warorot Market.
 

Later, travel into the mountains to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of northern Thailand’s most important temples, with beautiful views over Chiang Mai.

Day 06
